George & Gonzales CPAs PC was originally started as "Robert A George CPA" by Robert "Bob" and Bernie George in 1974. They moved back to their hometown of Raton to raise their kids and own their own business. They grew the business up from the ground and built relationships with clients that still last today.

Bob & Bernie's daughter Barbra "Bobbie" Gonzales joined the company as a CPA in 1991 and George & Gonzales CPAs was born. The business continued to grow throughout the years, eventually having an office staff of 6 or more people working with clients not only in Raton, but around the world.

Bobbie's daughter Jerica joined the firm in 2016 after graduating from the University of New Mexico. Not long after Bob & Bernie decided that it was time to retire. They moved to Mesquite, Nevada to celebrate a career and life well spent.

The business is now being run by Bobbie and Jerica, who became a CPA in 2021.
